With the new timeline experience, platforms can more easily understand payment flows and key milestones throughout the buyer journey, enabling faster diagnosis, clearer insights, and improved operational visibility. Additionally, action required payments that are not completed within the expected timeframe will now expire, providing a more predictable and reliable lifecycle management.

Release 2025-12-31

This release focuses on improving the Dashboard experience and introducing clearer, more consistent status handling across both the API and the user interface.

Platforms now benefit from a more streamlined way to browse checkouts and payments in the Getpaid Dashboard, with key insights surfaced at a glance and simplified, intuitive, statuses that make it easier to understand and reason about payment states.

Release 2025-12-23

This release introduces full checkout transparency in the Getpaid Dashboard, improved discoverability through the API, and additional data points to better understand client action required estimates.

Platforms can now view the checkouts they’ve created in the Getpaid Dashboard or via the Getpaid API, monitor their current status, and gain a comprehensive view of the buyer journey through detailed visibility into payment attempts and outcomes.

Additionally, identifying payments that belong to a recurring series is now simpler, with clear navigation to the initial payment in each series.

Release 2025-12-16

This release enhances checkout lifecycle management, payment transparency, and buyer experience customization.

Platforms gain complete visibility into checkout expiration states through three new webhooks, while gaining control over checkout lifetimes with configurable expiration times. Payment details now include card classification information to help understand processing fees.

Additionally, platforms can customize the buyer redirect experience by specifying different URLs for successful and failed payment outcomes.

Release 2025-12-10

This release introduces card refunds, recurring payment capabilities, and simplified payment split management.

Sellers can now refund customers for completed payments while platforms can manage subscription-based and usage-driven payment models with full control over frequency and amounts.

Additionally, platforms can now define flexible payment splits by combining fixed and percentage-based allocations with automatic remaining amount distribution.
